Best driving position?

Missionary position

 

I usually end up putting my left foot on the speaker thing in the drivers door and seat is one click from all the way back with the seat back reclined gangsta style.
For reference:

 

Both feet up on either side of the sun visor.





yeahh I knew that would catch your attention. I have a stick shift so I am in the proper position

 

My most comfortable position is with my foot stretched out on the dead pedal with my seat slightly reclined and my girlfriends head on my lap.

i sit normale but lean the seat back and just have one hand on steering wheel. i have drove like that for 6 hours than dad drove for the other 6h and i surfed TW on my phone. lol

 

x2!! i’m 5’7 5’8” and idk how someone can get their leg up on the dash. maybe since being so tall and the seat back so far he can.

 

Isn't really going to make all that much of a difference. You'll have to stop every hour or so for gas anyway, which will give you time to stretch and so on. In fact, after filling up, I often allow a bit of extra time to ensure a good break. With that (a good break), you'll be well ready for the next leg of your trip.

 

not every hour. ill probly have to fill up once maybe twice to get there.

i like to lean back a lil with my foot on the foot rest

 

Just drive how you normally would and stop every 2 or 3 hours to stretch your legs for 15 or so minutes if you have to..

 

long drives in the summer time? i'll prop a bare foot up on my driver mirror lol. you cool a foot off, you cool your core off.

normally though i just drive leaned back just a little with my left foot either down there somewhere or propped up on the panel if it's a long drive.

im 6'3'' and drove XC (Maine to Arizona) 3 times in the past year. i've found it helpful to drive normally as long as i can, and the alternate between having the seat ridiculously close to the wheel and ridiculously far back. it changes up your back/feet position and puts you in awkward positions to stay awake.

 

I like the seat all the way back, with the back rest really straight up, and my feet all the way back with my left knee resting on the door, and my right knee resting on the gear shift. That way I can rst my hands on my knees and grad the steering wheel at the 4 & 8 o'clock with my finger tips... Also helps me from passing out.

 

Nothing like shuffle steering to a call.

Done that. But only in the company vehicles. Not the taco.
