there is a lot of information out there on lift kits and just about everyone has an opinion on what works best. i am not an off-roader, just looking for 3" lift to put on bigger tires and rims. I would like it to be a comfy ride as well. Looking for some good feedback from all the experts on here. Keep in mind, mine is not a V6, it is a '11 4 cylinder double cab PreRunner Thank you.:help:

5100s and an AAL should get your raise and a decent ride

And if the 2.5" setting is a bit too stiff with stock coils then get eibachs springs and set the 5100s at 0.85". Folks say that rides wonderfully.

^^to that I'd add some OME 882s or Eibach coils for the comfy aspect.
You may not reach 3" all the way however. If you use the aftermarket longer coils you don't have to preload them as much and you'll achieve a plusher ride as you can set the shocks to a lower notch.

You will have Bilstein 5100 shocks in the front and the rest. The add a leaf goes into your leaf pack. The leaf lifts your rear end whereas the springs and shocks raise the front

They ride a lot worse than the 5100s because they are a twin-tube shock.
