    Yep. Programmed for tranny temp. Not difficult to do. There’s some YouTube vids on how to do it.

    SG has oil temp? Afaik, there's no oil temp sensor on the Tacoma.

    Most likely processed data and not straight from a sensor

    Stock wheels and suspension. Random "utilitarian" mods featured on this great forum.
    Ecu provides a pid based on something and you're right, has been discussed in here before. There is no actual oil temp sensor so it's a derived value.

    From what it *seems* like to me, it's just a lagging water coolant temp pid

    I've had the Scangauge and works well. I prefer Torque 2 (app) & OBDII and use a Pro Clip phone mount.

    I've got a 2017 Tacoma with the 2.7 4-cylinder and 6-speed automatic. Does anyone have the Scangauge codes for Current Gear Position?
