Best Exhaust For 3rd Gen Tacomas

Stock, slightly modified.

 

Normally on a V6, stock is the way to go. Exhaust systems just don't sound good on a V6 engine, especially trucks. The only one I've heard that I've ever liked, thought sounded good, and wasn't obnoxiously loud or raspy is the TRD. I'm honestly considering one for myself. From what I've heard myself, and have heard from others, it's a slight bit louder, has no drone, and has a throatier sound. It's also one piece and stainless steel so it will last.

 

Just curious, anyone ever cut open a stock muffler to see if it's straight through or chambered?

 

Never thought of it.
