Hey all, im new here so help me out if you will.
I got a white 3.4l extended cab. Im looking to buy a new exhaust system, but have no idea what direction to go in. I would love dual, but from what i hear its just for show and has no actual practicality. Any information would be great, mainly i would like to know the pros and cons of the different types and brands. Thanks!, Matt

Why do you want an exhaust system? I say just add a flowmaster muffler, anything else and you're probably wasting your time.

Just weld in a dynomax super turbo part # 17748 and chop off the tailpipe just past the axle. No need for a catback, waste of money unless yours is rusted through.

I see that the #17748 is a 2 1/2 in pipe but isn't the stock pipe 2 1/4, so wouldn't the #17731 muffler be better?

idk mine fit pretty good. I just had to close up the hole in the muffler a bit with the hammer so there wouldn't be such a big gap to weld.
