Had the Magnaflow exhaust, "upgraded" to the TRD exhaust.

TRD Exhaust sounds best at WOT

    Magnaflow sounds best <3k RPMs

Wish I could kinda of combine them to get the best of both ends, I kinda miss my magnaflow :(

Flowmaster, borla and MBRP are all too "raspy" in my opinion but thats just me.

Is your opinion based on sound clips online or in person comparison?

Dude, get yur self down to the R&D department, get with the engineer's, and proceed to invent the baddest Taco exhaust system known to man! Dyno #s to back it up too! Market it, big hit! The oldman'll bump you up from the mail room to Jr. VP in no time! Assuming this is an exhausts manufacturing company, and not an ordinary muffler shop....:notsure:

Nothing like doing bumps in the mailroom with the old man.

I've heard them all in person (except MBRP), sound clips I don't think ever give a good impression of real life unfortunately

Had a flomaster on my 2nd gen but swapped it for a magnaflow, owned both the magnaflow and TRD on my 3rd gen.

My buddy has the borla which I've heard, he said it sounds pretty much the same as the MBRP so just taking his word on that.

Interesting. When my Borla sounded nothing like the clips of MBRP, I praised the gods and sacrificed a goat in appreciation, but now I'm second guessing wasting all that meat.

Whoa, quick search reveals this place is the real deal. Custom exhaust for Beemers, WRXs, Audi's, etc. Me thinks you's doin' a little fishin' to test the waters. DO it!

I could be wrong I’ve never listened to clips so when he said that I just lumped them together mentally.

I did have a Borla on my old M3 and loved it so I know they make good stuff. And I like his exhaust too just when I had the choice when mangaflow as I liked it a bit better.

To me I feel like the borla is right in between the TRD and magnaflow sound wise, I think magnaflow sounds better than all the others in the lower rpm range but I sold it just because it was too much at WOT and with our 3.5s they like to spend more time in the higher rpm range.

feel like magnaflow sounds best low, TRD sounds best high. But borla > magnaflow high range. And borla > TRD low range. So I bet it hits the sweet spot for a lot of people.

My Magnaflow on my 1st gen rusted all to shit with in two years. There's a reason why the shit is cheap.

Oh yep, I knew it was something like that. Thanks for the correction. I still like Borla the best I think, they're great quality compared to companies like Flowmaster. Even though I've got a Flowmaster on mine lol

I have the MBRP Dual Exhaust.
With a resonated tips, I think it sounds great.
When compared to the MBRP single, and MagnaFlow, which IMO sounds like wet fart...

I think the TRD exhaust sounds great when on the throttle.

I have the flowmaster American thunder stainless steel system.

If I could do it again, I would probably go for the borla system.
