x2 on this, Upgrading can be expensive and wasting money on things not very useful hurts, what works from others don't necessarily works for you, Start off-roading first and then according your budget and your needs do what you think is your priority.
My 2 cents, every time I get a truck I get all terrain no matter what and window tint, in that order.
As you can see some people swear by lighting upgrades some other for chrome packages.
Time will tell you..... Good luck.

Forward or Reverse? I like the Wheatstone Bridge models that are reversible, hard to get OEM and the Chinese knockoffs can be dangerous from eBay. Careful in CA too, as in reverse you may end up in possession of a STRAW and get in trouble with the law.

Picked up my new '18 SR5 Access cab yesterday. It came with the factory rubber floor mats. Spent yesterday afternoon reading the manuals (dry, dry, dry). Spent today flat on my back applying Fluid Film to the underside of the truck. Even took the spare out from under the bed (so I could spray the mechanism with FF) and coated the tire rubber with 303 Protectant and the rim with FF.

Noticed that the map and dome lights aren't near bright enough. Looking on here for recommendations. If I could find some steel wheels with better snow tires I would buy them and put them on now. I'd put the aluminum rims and street tires on the shelf till tax day (April 15th) next year. I'm not going to do too much more than that. She is pretty as she sits, and I'm not too worried about macho BS. Good luck with your ride.

Look for @mesojdm, his interior led lights are great. My first impression was ‘zombie apocolypse bright’ but I got used to them in about 3 days.

The first thing you should do is 3m to protect the prrfect paint. The 3m will stick best when clean. I got my ebtire truck done for 800 from a guy off classified adds days after i got it off the lot

Oh its the clear bra. I got the front bumper, entire front end including headlights and fog lights, 24” on hood, a-pillar, leading edge of rood, side mirrors, door handles, about 1’ the entire bottom length of sides, also wrapped my entire bushwackers as well. Im well protected from any minor road chips, especially bottom half of truck. You wont be able to see it, but i got a bunch on the truck as it sits i found a guy in the classified, and he came to the house and did it all for $1000...good deal when considering all the custom sections that needed work65562734-5E0B-4C2A-A9A2-8C3A63C50B98.jpg

My first mods are always the easy ones (and cheapest)... bed mat, seat covers, vent visors, floor mats, bug deflector.
Then I do the others as money allows; bars, bed cover, tires, etc.

I’m running Xentec 55W HID’s. No issues for almost 2 years now. The kit is on the cheaper end too. Ran me $40 off of Amazon. A lot of guys go with XenonDepot and what not on here though but with those kits your looking around $150.
