I've always had maglights and liked them, only because I could never afford a streamlight I suppose.

And FWIW I have destroyed a maglight... Though it wasn't really under "normal" operating conditions.

I've got a 3D LED maglite and a 2AA LED maglite and love both. Plenty bright IMO and they're REALLY tough. Oh, and Costco FTW! Thats where I got these both for only like $25?

In my case they should not be called, "hit repeatedly with a BFG, filled with acetone, and then washed out with baking soda" But who''s counting:anonymous:

^^^ That coexist image is sick. Do they make an actual decal like that?

Oh as far as flashlights are concerned. Surefire FTW.

I have several maglights that have been converted to led with various kits. I like them all better now that they don't break when I drop them. But my streamlights kick the crap out of them. Even the small ones that take AA or AAA batteries have superior beam patterns to the maglights. And I love my rechargeable Lithium Ion Strion Led.

I keep a AA Fenix in the truck. No need for anything else. Perfect light levels for use with truck, long life, and I keep it with fresh Eneloops so use is free. I have Surefires and Streamlights but the Fenix is the best truck light becasue its as tough as a maglight, bright as most Surefires, and its cheap.
