I would go with 4.56s and a supercharger. :D Just my opinion.

I'm just starting to research this whole regearing deal. I've got a 2.4L 4 banger w/ stock gearing. I don't haul more than camping tents, surf boards, and passengers so I'm looking for more acceleration. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thx.

Something to seriously think about. I (and many others) average the same mpg as you with my v6. And when I'm on a flat highway and want to pass I can just keep it in 5th and give it a little gas and pass people quickly and effortlessly.

Most people go with 4:88s or 5:29s. I went with 4:88s after doing my own research
