Yu can buy pre cut protective film for headlights and install yourself or have a professional do it. Typical cost in my area is $50 installed.

Are you talking about the factory Clearcoat failing (does failing mean peeling?) and a Toyota warranty or an aftermarket product that has done????

I just purchased some headlight vinyl for my headlights. I plan on wetsanding and polishing them first.

Does anyone know if I can apply a wax/sealant to the lenses before applying the vinyl film? Will it stick? Just trying to apply as much UV protection as possible.

The wax will likely give you problems when trying to get the vinyl to stick. You could always put the UV protectant on top of the vinyl. I've been doing that on my IS300 for a few years now and they still look like when I first put the lamin-x on.

Amazing, thanks! What type of protectant do you apply over top of the vinyl?
