Best height for a sleeping platform?

    box.jpg I went as high as the ledge. Seems to be a good compromise between storage underneath and space on top. I can almost sit totally upright with a mid-rise shell and a paco pad. (There is another panel that drops in to cover the front of the box)

    This looks great. What did you do for drawer slides... Teflon tape?
    Also, how is the mountain hatch holding up? Does it get scratched up from normal use and the drawers?

    Thank you! I used nothing for drawer slides. It is just on the bed liner and works great. The drawers come out fine but do take a little pulling, but it's nice because they done move much front to back. The Mountain Hatch is doing great! Love that thing. It does not get scratched at all.

    I like the setup and am looking to do something similar myself. I want to do the 3/4 bed platform to leave room for wood/snowboards/mountain bike, etc. How wide is your platform width wise?

    The front piece is full width. I don’t recall how wide I did the back piece. It’s probably about 16” shy of full width just to fit the cooler.
