    Just wondering, for those that tow with a 3rd Gen Tacoma what you think the best hitch receiver is out there? ive seen alot of them from many different price ranges. I dont intend to use it to tow a trailer or anything im just looking to maybe haul a small boat (less than 15 feet).

    If its corrosion resistant thats even better since it might be getting salt water on it.

    The standard Reese hitch commonly found at most retails stores should do fine.
    Pull it out and rinse it with a hose if salt water is a concern.

    I’m sure there are better ones, but this should do fine for a small boat.
    And they are pretty reasonably priced.

    Stainless are a bit more expensive, that maybe an option?
    I’d just buy another “cheaper” one if I even worried about it.

    Realistically?

    The OEM one.

    Best part is you can get them cheap or free in the classifieds here or craigslist in your area often.

    The OEM one, and it’s expensive.

    I figured OP was asking about this:

    And it sounded like you were talking about this:

    So I was just trying to clarify.

    :confused::confused:

    Your profile says 2020 OR. Those come from the factory with a receiver...

    If you are actually asking about a draw bar, any that are rated for 7500 pounds or better will do just fine.

    Define “best”. What exactly are you looking for? What is it that you think makes one hitch better than another?
