Best Ladder Rack?

    I've got a Thule X-Sportster (prior model) and absolutely love it. I've had it for well over 5-yrs, primarily using it for hauling my kayaks, but used a couple of times for plywood and some 2x4's. The Thule is rated for close to 500lbs, so a bit of overkill for my kayak needs, but I was glad it had the capabilities if I ever went with a RTT.

    Costly, yes, but worth every buck, IMO! It was just over $500 when I bought mine, but the newer models are upwards of $700. There are certainly less expensive options out there, but I got mine with intention of having it A LONG LONG TIME- and it's still doing damn fine:thumbsup: ! The selling point for me years ago was the ability to lower and raise the rack to suit my needs as needed. Here is the one I have on a double cab (not mine, this is from ACK's YouTube channel):
