    Well thats great that they were delivered given Allpros shipping nightmares (good products,good prices, sketchy shipping) but thats for another thread,so 'nuff said on that...;)

    Well you need to remove your springs get some C clamps to hold the pack together, take off the nut on the axle alignment pin slowly release the C clamps freeing up the leafs for dissassembly /add leafs/re assemble using new axle pin,

    You can add 2 leafs to a stock 1st gen 3 leaf pack & retain the overload spring if you want re using the stock U bolts also as long as theres no significant thread stretch on them, you will need an extended brakeline tho'

    Price wise is still to be determined, if you bring me the leafs as a bench job probably in the neighborhood of $75 per side which includes new axle pins, break down ,inspection, re assemble with added,groomed leafs w/diamond cut ends, anti squeak pads,paint..

    If truck is brought to me (OMD) & I do the whole thing maybe around
    $ 400, more if i get the extended brakelines (which anyone who does this will need)

    but i need to nail it down laborwise really

    & i can build springs to your needs


    i've seen members here pay up to much more than that for a typical AAL
