Hey @danielgonzzz I’m thinking on changing the low beams and high beams of my 2021 Tacoma. Can you share the link for the Hikari Ultra you got?? Do you know if they will fit my 2021 tacoma?? Also tell me if in these 2 years since you change them they have being great or if they broke or something please. Thanks

This thread is several years old. Better bulbs have come along since then, the current recommended replacement LED is the the Morimoto 2stroke 3.0s covered here which is far more advanced with better build quality and focus than the dated Hikaris.

I know it’s anecdotal, but I have been running the Hikari ultras for almost three years, same set, and I do quite a bit of driving in the dark. From an hour to three or more a day, 6 days a week. Same set, no issues. I also run them in the high beam, and they aren’t any worse than stock, but I don’t know that they are any better (just judging from my experience, nothing scientific). But I have been happy with them all in all.

    Stawk as FUCK!
Same here fam. I bought 6 sets (2 Tacomas with low/highs/fogs) 3 years ago and all still going strong. Hikari Ultras are Brightest drop in LED no doubt. LOVE mine.

I bought a couple of spare sets expecting a higher failure rate (when they were on sale I figured I’d stock up). But no need for them yet. I know they aren’t quite as good as the H9 swap, but I really prefer the color and the longevity has been a bonus.

I have a 1999 Toyota Tacoma SR5. What is a bright headlight for it? I just want to plug them in, and not do any rewiring.
