    This is what I too would recommend over a cheap stiff spacer lift. Remember, we are talking about a $40k Off Road truck, not a street princess.

    Myself I did the 2/1" 5100 lift, but @Kruuuzn's idea is also best bang for the buck levelling without needing to lift the rear. MUCH BETTER than a spacer lift.

    I have a TRD Off Road and I want to install the TRD Pro Fox shocks. By mistake I bought a set, front & rear, for a 4Runner. I talked with Fox and they said the spring rate is the same, but the 4Runner spring is about 1 inch taller. Does anyone think I will have issues going 1 inch higher as far as the carrier bearing or anything else. Also, if I remember correctly, isn't the TRD Pro Tacoma higher then the TRD Off Road?

    From factory, the TRD Pro is approximately 1" taller in the front than all other factory trims.


    The rear shocks would be valved for a much heavier rear section than the Tacoma has though... so you may find the rear shocks harsh. ( If they fit at all. )
