    Hahaha funny thread!!!

    OP,
I just did ordered the Bilstein 6112/5160 and an Eibach 1” rear block. It’s a ... 2.5” diameter shock that gets great reviews and praised as it is valvaed specifically for the Tacoma. I went with it for cost ($1200 parts alone), ride quality, and occasional capability. Ultimately I will have about a 2” front 1” rear lift and can comfortably fit 285/70-17s (32-32.5 depending on tire).

OME has some stuff out there, Icon stage 1 is like $1,600. Stage 2 $2k. All that does not include install.

For your budget (my budget as well) I went with the Billies 6112/5160. It was the look and performance I wanted.

If you want to go a bit taller, Ready lift makes a 3”/2” Bilstein 5100 set up that gets decent reviews. It’s actually cheaper but not as “performance” driven.

Fox and King are the beat but at double the budget after install.

I went with the Eibach Pro Truck Stage 1 kit. Ordered it from Headstrong pre-assembled at the first clip. Headstrong includes a 1/4” spacer for the driver’s side lean. I also ordered 1.5” MaxTrac Rear block kit with U-bolts and hardware. Total was in the neighborhood of $750.

I can’t say enough about this setup. It gave me 2.25” of lift in the front and it rides great. No more nose-diving when stopping and no more body roll while cornering. The Eibach stuff is American made and the springs are guaranteed not to sag, unlike the OME coils that have been giving people fits with excessive settling.
