So true. If you can limit yourself to a 2” lift with 275/70/17 (32”) tires you can avoid buying new UCAs and will also avoid the need for front needle bearing replacement, carrier spacer and will most likely not have steering or driveline vibe issues.

A 275/70/17 compared to 285s are only .5” smaller in diameter which equates to only 1/4” less ground clearance overall. You’ll have better MPG, cheaper tire options, etc.

I personally love my 6” BDS with fox 2.5 coil overs with remote reservoirs. Allot of people poopoo the drop brackets but I have never had an issue and I go to the mountains (dry, mud, and snow) almost every weekend. Of course you get what you pay for and you can’t beat their warrantee. I’m running 35’s and all I did was a front body chop. I don’t rub at all up front (I do rub just a smidge in rear at full articulation) I did change out the fox 600 lb/in with iebach 650lb/in due to winch and pumper. And got the BDS UCA that is made for their 6”lift. And My front still needs to be adjusted up more aswell but waiting until my dirt king LCA come in so I only need to take them off once. The reservoir hose gets In the way on the passenger side so can’t adjust preload while on truck.☹️

Also keep in mind if you have an automatic you might need to regear aswell. I am lucky and have a manual so my truck actually drives better with the taller tires. I can cruse down hiway at 90 and still be at lower rpms. If I need a lower gear for climbing I just use low range. I have no issue with shakes or vibrations. These pics have my snow tires on. My summer tires are Fierce MT’s and they don’t cause problems either .

I agree with LAVA. Any of those 4 “top tier” lifts will treat you good. Any one is just as good as the other 3 just comes down to your preference.

    My lift experience:
Ome 887s and add a leaf. Net 3.25in over stock measured from floor to fender, center line of hub.
Absolutely needed UCAs, couldnt align. Truck was all over the road.
Carrier bearing spacer: needed to be 2x as thick to get rid of 20-30mph vibration.
