I've read somewhere that 170s didn't fit. Have you tried it yet. Those are out of my price range but I'm interested cause it'd give me a size reference.

    Sending you a PM AsianAnts.

There's a guy on here thats selling his 170 cause they wouldn't fit behind the grille on a 2nd gen. There's got to be more room on a gen 2 then on a gen 1.

Do you guys drive on the road (at night obviously) with the extra lights on?

Or are they strictly for off road?

without the hids in the hellas, if you had them aimed way down you might get away with it but after i converted them they are way to bright with people around. i switch them on when no ones around though or if someone is a dick and cuts me off, lol

YEa usually just at night on roads that are less traveled and when offroad obviously too but ive actually accidently left all 4 of mine on one time and didnt get flashed by anyone so i think id be ok to leave them on but i dont just so there is no worry unless someone cuts me off or doesnt cut their Hi's off

Yea ive noticed the same thing sitting at stop signs with cars passing by the whole insideof their car lights up lol...I fell bad for the old people but ive come to notice in a way HID's are kind of like bug lights and your drawn in to look at them and as long as you dont pay them any attention they dont blind you but we all know no one is going to do that

170's will fit but they aren't cheap but they are worth it. 700m of light is awesome.
