    A few bolts are different.
Although I think Muse is good, Foo Fighters takes the cake in todays live rock performances.

Agree with everyone who said Tool. Best show I've ever seen.

DMB, Widespread Panic, and Gov't Mule also put on a helluva show too.

Like many posts before me, TOOL puts on an amazing show. Of the 12 I've seen, The Gorge 2006 was hands down the best.

I've also seen KoRn a half dozen times and Jonathan Davis is one hell of a performer.

Rammstein just did a US tour a little bit ago only playing 9 or 10 shows and all sold out needless to say.

Some of the best shows I have been to:

Pantera on the CFH tour in '91 at a little club in Detroit before they were really known. Met Phil and Dime after teh show by the bar. One of my most-cherished items is the guitar pick I got from "Diamond Darrell" that night.

Seeing Ozzy on the Ultimate Sin tour with Metallica opening on tour for Master Of Puppets. I was about 6 feet from the stage for it. Ozzy sprayed me with a garen hose he dragged out. Seeing Cliff Burton jamming away in his own little world with one foot up on his monitor was a great part of it too.

Another favorite had to be Ozzfest in '99. My buddy got some great seats and I got to see all of the original Black Sabbath play (which I never thought would happen) from the 7th row. It didn't hurt that Fear Factory and Slayer were on it that year too.

The Flaming Lips and My Morning Jacket put on a hell of a live show if we're talking stadium type concert.

Small venue concert goes to either The Hold Steady or Drive-By Truckers IMO.

Jimi Hendrix Got to see him two times, 50 years of rocking no one is even close. Saw him up in Ga. two mo. before he died, Started the set with all along the watchtower and 3 1/2 hrs. later did purple haze. Never been anyone like him to bad so many missed him I will never forget his shows... Jim

For all you guitarists out there: even if you dont care for country music, GO SEE HIM.. strictly IMO, the best guitar player of all time! he filled the entire show with walking up and down the isles shredding his telecaster with the crasiest 5 minute solos you ever heard.. the rest of his band gets a chance to show off too and theyre badass!!

Allman Brothers Band in their day was the best. But the best live show I ever seen was Blue Oyster Cult at Doc Ricketts Lab in Monterrey Cali. The venue is about as big as your basement and it was great!!
