    I'll chime in:

U2 vertigo tour was amazing. Rage Against the Machine Battle for Los Angeles was unbelievable, but I'm going to have to say the two best concerts I've ever attended were from my younger years.

Thompson Twins w/ OMD opening: Never before or since in the history of Tucson has more New Wavers been in a single location. The hair mouse, paisley shirts, cuffed pants and trench coats were out in force that great evening in 1986.

The Jesus and Mary Chain: 1989 concert in Lisbon Portugal. About 2500 in attendance. Great memories.

I would love to go to the following within the next couple of years:
311, U2, Muse, Greenday and it will never happen...Led Zeppelin...

On the Death Magnetic tour in 09 it was The Sword and Lamb of God who opened. LOG was fucking AWESOME. Metallica was ehhh. Hetfield can't sing anymore, and Lars is just fucking terrible.

Watching Tool will change your life, or at least the way you view live music. The shit they play is difficult and they play DEAD ON. Danny Carey is a fucking machine.

In conclusion, you have not lived until you've seen Tool live.

Keith Urban is also another phenomenal guitarist. He was in a rock band before he made it big in country. I have seen Keith in concert - excellent. I have not seen Brad Paisley in concert, but I'm sure he is excellent also. I am a fan of everything from WASP to Mozart, but nothing to me holds a candle to Metallica live. :D

I don't think it's because they're past their prime, It's because they tuned into a bunch of f**kin whiney bitches!! As far as I'm concerned, what's known as the black album, was the end of the line for gaytallica! And that's being nice.

I worked as a union stagehand for years (actually starting back up soon) and I have worked/seen MANY concerts in my years. I gotta agree with the guys saying Metallica. They put on an incredible show. I've never seen so much pyro in my life...Honorable mentions, and this is just going by quality of the performance, are Springsteen and DMB. Both put on an awesome show!!

gotta say the best show I've ever seen as a fan was rage and wu-tang in around '98 or so. That was a great fuckin show.

    neglect, mostly.
agreed. i play guitar and have huge respect for those dudes. used to be a big paisley fan but he's kinda fell off the wagon a little bit for me recently. and despite the fact that im not really a KU fan, he can rock for sure. they are both damn talented guitarist, though only seen Paisly live. . . though im still sticking to my guns on Zac Brown Band. the songs you hear on the radio are good, sure, but see them live and they will blow you away. ive seen them 3 times and i can't go to a country concert anymore, i just know all the other artists ive seen can't compete with the talent they have. zac is actually a classically trained musician and is very sick on a guitar. My favorite dude is Clay Cook - he was John Mayer's roomate in college and wrote a few of his popular songs. now he just tears it up with ZBB.

check out this hulu vid, of one of their "rock" songs. Clay Cook burns down the house at around 6 minutes.

I hope you dont mean Queen with Paul Rogers because its not the same. I am guessing as it says youre 26 that you did not see them with Freddy.

I do agree with this. Saw him a few years back and was an amazing guitar player

I would love to see the Allman Brothers but dont think they make it up north to often.

Springsteen was one of my favorites as well as Rush and I was invited to a private concert from Chris Isaak which was pretty cool.

Rage Against the Machine, Bloc Party, 311, Coldplay, Rise Against, Foo Fighters have all been my favorite bands to see live.

I'm looking forward to LA Rising for Rage again. Rise will be there along with Muse. I haven't seen them Live in 14 years! I've watched 311 Live about 8 times now. They give the best performances Sober & Wasted out of my mind. Bloc Party is one of my favorite bands and low key. Seen them around 6 times. They give an amazing performance. Foo Fighters give it their all and intense. However, the best music to me.

Wish I could've seen NIRVANA live. *SIGH*

I still hope that RATM will get back together so I can see them. And I would have loved to see AIC also.

Also seen the following which were all good shows except DMB who nearly put me to sleep.

    311 4x
    APC 3x
    Chevelle at a Music Fest
    Snoop
