I've seen Deftones numerous times and they always put on a great show!!! Ironically, their live cd is probably the worst live cd I've ever heard!

Cool story about Zac Brown Band. My wife and I go to Telluride Bluegrass fest each year. Im 2009 we left the pickin tent we had set up at our camp and walked all of about 10 feet to our tent. Not 5 minutes later we heard some pickin that was just better then anything the peop?e we were camping with were capable of. We sat and listened for as long as we could hold our eyes open it was 4 a.m. after all. Next morning we wake up and our buddy Richard is walking around wearing this black leather vest. We are like what is with the vest Richard? He replies oh this it is Zac Browns. He and his band played in the pickin tent last night from 4-6 am to warm up for todays show. We were just amazed.

They are awesome live. I have caught them twice and also one of Mike Ness' solo tours too.

    Best shows I've seen:
    1. Tool - Lateralus Tour, opened with Third Eye straight into Sober (also, bonus, Tomahawk opened)
    2. Primus - Southbound Pachyderm Tour
    3. Deftones
    4. Nonpoint (they were like the 3rd-tier band but they freakin stole the show and rocked the fuck out that place)

Correct. Springsteen wrote it after reading The Grapes of Wrath.

I first heard they were getting back together 2+ years ago. After a while I kinda dismissed it. Glad to see it is actually happening. Do you know if it is going to be a one show thing or an actual tour?

My personal favorite band as far as live performances go is Scorpions. Then Kiss, then maybe Rush.

System of a down during their Mezmerize album played in Long Beach CA with the Mars Volta many years ago. While I no longer listen to these bands or enjoy their music much anymore, their performances were flawless, none stop energy in a room filled with sponge bodies abosrbing it. While it wasnt the best music ever, the performance was on point.
