Makes sense, particularly depending on the area one lives. I definitely used my PIAA lights often when I first got them, driving home from my in-laws' house very late at night in a rural area known for deer etc.

Not mechanical mods, but I’ve found
    - bed lights
    - glovebox lights
    - heated mirrors
    - in cab 120Vac power
    to be very useful.

I heard somewhere deer cause more deaths than any other animals, discovery or something.

I’ve seen them, but not close to home in the Los Angeles area. There’s plenty up in the hills around the Getty center and Griffith park. I’ve seen them in Malibu beach.

I'm south of Boston MA and deer are a thing here to say the least. My old car I had got hit by deer twice, total fluky shit both times. Many nights in rural areas I will see them as well especially in colder weather.

Im not married so I don’t have to worry bout the wife yet. Use safety again.

You need them because a set of ss3’s or squadrons in amber/yellow will help you/her see better/farther in inclement weather conditions.

Yup, 14 DC here as well. I'm sure the cab size does make a difference.

Have had it checked out by dealer, my usual shop, and also an AC shop who all said everything is working fine. Once it starts getting above 90's, even on max, it keeps me cool but any passengers in the back seat, while not sweating, definitely aren't as cool as they'd like to be.

@TacoTyusday Wait...you actually put people in the back seats? I thought that was for storage and/or dogs or babies...

Lol typically it is, but once in a blue moon I'll drive extra people on camping trips/festival trips.

Usually the people I don't like as much sit back there :anonymous:

Same here even if I had one like that. I had a Nissan Frontier DC last summer as a rental and twice I used the back seat. Once for a microwave, once for my wife and cat (who we were bringing to the vet for her final minutes) :(

@TenderTacoNipples And you know to empty it every 20K-40K miles or so, depending on the size?

this is what I’m confused about.
I have 6112/5160 with RXT and the front vs rear feels about the same. Therefore, what is there to complain about, on a hanger I haven’t bent yet?
We all like things to be even. If Archive improves it then wouldn’t it make the rear therefore ride better than the front, if it currently rides about the same, then feel weird?

    Anti theft bracket

why not ARB air locker who claims it’s the best?

catch cans resist oil reducing octane. Not important non a turbo non motor

and can supposedly hydrolock the motor if wheeled at enough of an angle.

Intake is kept clean by fuel from port injectors
Catch can catches water if work is a mile away and the oil doesn’t have enough time to warm off any condensation

    seems risky

Please provide a link or video I can review regarding the octane, hydrolocking, and condensation claims, and clarify the points ‘cause most of the sentences read as gibberish. The intake valve is kept clean, but not the entire valve, and the injectors do not not keep clean the rest of the combustion chamber. Catch cans are called air oil separators (AOS) by auto manufacturers and come standard in some models.

Same! 2013 DCLB PR - mine has always blown cold, not ice freaking cold like other vehicles I ride in. I often wondered if Toyota added the minimum refrigerant to save money, like they did with the auto transmissions.

catch cans fill with oil. The tube from a catch can runs to the intake. An intake with oil in it can hydrolock because oil is a liquid. Nobody is taking a video of hydrolocking their motor

OEM catch cans would be something like a $250 Mann Provent 200 which has a return line feeding oil back to the block and one way valve, that cheaper catch cans don’t have

Other ways exist to clean a combustion chamber like water injection or running a cleaner

a byproduct of burning fuel is carbon. Combustion chamber will still probably get carbon in it regardless of catch can/oil

I think the capacity is 400-500 grams. Should say on a sticker in the engine bay or hood. I’ve seen cars have a spec of 400-1000+ depending on model and if it has a second A/C system for the back seats or not.

doesn’t hurt to wash/clean the condenser fins and recharge the system to make sure it has the right amount of fresh clean r134a

Minimum refrigerant would cause other obvious problems, so that would be a negative.
