    Hunting/camping/surviving fixed blade I'd go with Becker or ESEE

    folding I really don't know what I'd recommend. My spyderco came in today and I am impressed. Haven't been able to do any of those things yet but I'll be sure to let you know.

    I did a bit of research to find a good camping knife. read up on ontario and all but for the price this is hard to pass up. Ka-bar BK2. I polished mine.

    lol i know. I have not had a chance to get out with it and acutally use it.... its too damn hot in AZ right now to go out camping.

    Eh I like it because it helps cut down on weight. For an edc I sometimes forget my endura4 is in my pocket. Definitely the sharpest blade I've owned.

    What you pay is what you get. Generally, you can get some pretty decently priced knives if you look around. My endura4 was 50 and my crk m21-14 was 45. If you really want a badass edc look for a benchmade 940

    Little fucker is sharp as hell. I got the sharpmaker as well to maintain the edge, but it still cuts through flesh like butter after using it intensively for 48 hours. Not a whole lot of time but I'm optimistic
