Thought about this, how complicated is the install? Don't have many tools here at school so thats why i ask.

I'm not comfortable w/ soldering wires so i need the harness and that coupled with the calibrator is way too much. Tint not till way later. Sun has faded the tails so no need haha and i'd rather just do the whole suspension at once so i'm just gonna save for all of it, which is what i'm doing i think

Cocaine and hookers is enticing, but the gf wouldn't like that much haha

I just got mine. Install is like 20-30 min with basic tools. Go to URD vendor page on here, find the thread about the shortshifter and my post asking about install tools. Gadget posted a link to xru with a very detailed install DIY.

Mines going in this weekend so I'll let you know but from what I've ready every single person pretty much just kicks themselves for not getting it sooner.

ya seems simple enough. I'd just have to buy a center punch along w/ some loctite and RTV. Let me know how ur install goes...

Got anxious and installed it tonight, took 30 min tops, didn't really time it. No hiccups or surprises and literally the best $110 I've ever spent on my truck!

I would highly recommend getting this thing man

    Makes the regular throws nauseating

sweet man, good to hear. So all you used was sockets, allen wrenches, screwdriver, the center punch, and the loctite/rtv sealant?

And a hammer for the punch. And all the sockets and whatnot were just to get the center console out. Anyone can do it.

If you wanna see my step by step pics they're up in the TW Live thread. Some other guys asked too. I could never go back after this one haha

I certainly like the $110 vs $275 for the TRD one; I'm wondering what differentiates the two

the short shifter that was offered by Subaru for my WRX was $ worth spent, it was in the $250-ish range
