    Sorry, OP, can't say for the 2nd gen, but somebody needs to hear this:
    the YETI Rambler 20 oz Tumbler fits perfectly in the 3rd gen small cupholder!

    It's super snug, doesn't rattle and I can still rest my arm on the center console and operate the shifter without bumping my arm.
