Best non-OEM replacement headlight?

Did you purchase them from a local retailer or online? If online, can you provide me the link?

 

Amazon has them.

 

I got them from jcwhitney. Cheapest place I could find them. They were around $210 for the pair in the sport version.

 

Anyone have experience with the Evan-Fischer brand? Found a set, with the capa cert for a buck and a half.

 

I Installed the CAPA certified TYC lights in mine. One was damaged when my ex mother in law backed into my truck last summer when I foolishly let my ex wife borrow it. Both the TYC's were cheaper than one OE light. They look and fit great but the passenger side headlight has a really annoying hot spot in the beam pattern. Overall light output is just as good as factory but it does have that hot spot.

 

130K Km eh? Ill have to check my '10 to see if this is happening, They are hazed and this would be a nice replacement (free). Ive only got 79K Km on it!

 

I know you posted this a while back. I was wondering how well they have held up since your post.

 

I only owned my 1st Gen for a couple of years after replacing the headlights, and they still looked new when I migrated to my 2nd Gen.

FWIW, I'd recommend them and buy them again.
