My truck is headed to the shop in need of some serious front end work. I have driven it pretty hard during my outdoor pursuits and had no truck payment for 9 years... and its time to pay the piper. 2011 quad cab TRD 4.0L w/ <158k miles.

I am wondering what LCA / UCA and CV axles people are going with to get OE quality?

I plan to keep the truck another 2-4 years and hope to be able to sell it in good working order at that time.... who knows but I guess it could also go longer. I am planning to throw on Bilstein 6100s and springs.

My thought is Moog LCA and UCA and factory Toyota CVs and factory camber/caster bolts?? I am not looking to get all total chaos and fox stuff. I am just looking for solid factory type quality that will restore my ride quality for the next 4 years or so until I move up to a Tundra. This is going to be a pricey replacement for me, but I am looking to keep it as budget as I can without losing quality.

I have searched... just looks like quality and availability of different stuff changes over time so wanted to get the most up to date opinions.

    That is my suggestion too.
Moog should last as long as you plan to keep it.
And you can’t beat OEM CVs

Aftermarket control arms use shitty BJ’s and bushings. If you cant afford truck downtime, get the cheapest control arms while you can refurbish your oem arms. I got Dorman LCA’s and the BJ’s barely lasted 1500 miles.

So which Ball Joints did you go with? You would have to order Toyota Ball joints from overseas or buy OEM arms.

OEM gives you OE quality. They lasted this long, don't cheap out.

What about swapping poly bushings and putting new BJs on?

I bought some Premium XL’s for the LCA’s as they were meant to be temporary while I refurbished my OEM’s with Mevotech components. Two years later, I still haven’t got around with completing the swap out. But, now I feel the bushings on the Dorman LCA’s need replacing. The OEM LCA’s are ready, just need to find time …
