Best OEM LED Headlights

I’m honestly not sure if it affects compliance? It probably does, but there is still a reflector, and the light is still amber. I honestly just don’t know. That being said, the grey is definitely not as good of a reflector as the amber for sure. But it looks cool If my truck was any color but black (or the dark grey), I’d have gone with white reflectors.

 

The heaters are a nice touch. I’ve not had any issues with my LEDs, but I know that is just because we haven’t had any really bad snow in awhile. When it does snow bad, even the halogens could keep up with melting it sometimes.

 

‘What is involved to use the Marimoto LED’s to have the headlight stalk turn the DRL OFF/ON like factory.

It’s basically using a relay triggered by the DRL to make/break the circuit for the DRL on the Morimotos.

And @drizzoh Sorry I forgot it was you man! You made these possible by sending me the harnesses and measurements. In my defense, I’d forget who my wife is after two days away

EVO's are the brightest option and have more features.

But oooof those have come up in price since they were first released. Glad I got mine for free lol.

 

I have factory installed OEM LED headlights in my 2023 Sport and they look badass and are by far the best headlights I have ever owned.

 

I’d recommend choosing one of the OEM options over morimoto. The chrome model OEM really is not a bad amount of chrome. It isn’t even noticeable in my opinion.

 

The chrome just looks like headlight reflectors.

My 2022 came with factory LEDs, and they are the best headlights I have seen.
in other cars I have had the original Toshiba HIR, Phillips HIR, Hi beam bulbs used in low beam place with glare shields, hi beam bulbs in projector housing. Tacoma factory LEDs work the best.
