So I learned that I am an asshole, dick, meat head, and disrespectful because I do not have mudflaps. Sorry my truck didn't come with mudflaps when I bought it. They would have gotten ripped off anyway when I was offroading.

I say sliders then maybe attach some plates or sort of covering over the gaps in the sliders.

So all who lost their flaps while off roading are "(dicks)"? What about all the other trucks/vehicle owners out there w/out flaps from the factory- all dicks too? Sounds like your just a dickhead... :p

Every manufacturer in Alberta puts on mudflaps. So illiterate you are because I am from Alberta(previous post pointed it out pretty thoroughly) and that is the law.

As for paying 35k for a Tacoma, once again, I am in Canada. Please learn currencies and NOT EVERYONE lives in USA.

Thank you! I don't know what people do not get. I agree people do need to do research before they talk.

This world has gone to the dogs(I did research on that one, just look at the anti-mudflap people)

I don't know what to say any more honestly God gave brains for a reason

We are talking about mud flaps and protecting the side panels of a truck. We're not having an America vs Canada fight. I never said anything negative about Canadians or Canada.

xxarra said it was ridiculous to pay 35k all in for my truck and I got a accessories. I say it was a very good price because the MSRP for the TRD OR here is 38 + all in without accessories.

once again learn your facts before you speak.

BTW 35K include 6years bumper to bumper

Actually I never said that bud and I also did not mention anything about Canada until you brought it up. Maybe you should get your facts straight.

It would be pretty funny to see a mall in the background just saying lol.

To anti-mudflaps: They have the silicone or something mudflaps that are flexible, no need to break now?

Wider fender flares paired with sliders with something covering the gaps in the sliders would be the best alternative to mudflaps imo.

Oswego I did do my research on this and take a look and US SUV and truck manufacturers. They do not put flaps on there trucks and SUV's from the factory. It is a dealer option. When you drive into work tomorrow take a look as you drive along. You cannot say that every soccer mom driving a Tahoe or construction worker that is driving a stock pickup removed his/her mud flaps knowing because it looked weird. You can even stop next to them at a light and see that there are no factory holes or wear marks from where a flap was.

Have I gone online to order me up a F150 or Silverado yet so I can prove to you that they do not come from the factory? No I haven't so let's start here:

    http://www.ford.com/trucks/f150/specifications/exterior/

Notice something missing in the picture?

    Or here click on exterior:

    http://www.chevrolet.com/silverado-...&utm_content=Search&utm_term=features_&_specs

    Or here click on exterior:

    http://www.chevrolet.com/tahoe-suv/features-specs/

I haven't seen what type of off roading you do but I lost two on my first trip out with mine. So maybe we wheel different terrain.
