it is law in Alberta to have mud flaps; however, you'll be hard pressed to find offroad vehicles that have them on and cops don't enforce this law at all. I think it's common practice in our culture to break laws that everyone is breaking but if that makes me a dickhead then so be it.

Before I bought this truck, I saw my buddy lose a rear flap just by backing into a small pile of dirt with his Tacoma. I knew before I bought my truck the flaps were coming off. First thing I did when I got home. Sold them on E-bay for $200.00. Have not broke any laws.
As I am sure you know, the truck is treated along the rocker panel, but if you know its going to be a big issue with your truck, you may consider a spray in liner option as mentioned and maybe they can come close to color matching. I am running stock alloy wheels with 265/75/16's, so my tires are not sticking out like some which will throw alot more stuff up on the truck sides.
I like to see some of the flap haters off road and see them whine when they get rocks, dirt, sand, etc. thrown up on thier trucks. Ahh, probably only run into them at the mall...maybe I could splash water on thier trucks... hehehe :D

Sounds like your such a pussy you would cry when I passed you and started throwing rocks on your truck...:rofl::rofl:
I have spent more time in Baja traveling and racing then you will ever off road in your life. You would not stand a chance being worried about a few rocks flying... And, I would smoke your ass in my stock Prerunner! I would hold back on purpose so you would eat my dust for miles... for real!
So, shut the F..k up and get over it...:smack:

IDK WTF that is even supposed to mean...grammar is obviously not your strong point, and neither is being considerate. And you sound retarded claiming your pre-runner is somehow better than a 4x4...do you even have LT?

Hey Os just curious do you get into rocks much where you wheel or is most of it similar to the pics you have posted up? Not hatin it's just that the rocks here in CO are what tear them off more than anything. And by rocks I mean:

after reading some of your responses to my valid question I have decided that not having mud flaps is not enough. I am now in the process of modding my truck with a gravel dispenser.
