The forming is what makes it strong. You'd be surprised how strong this baby is.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
Lol, OK good to know. I'm sure those will be popular! First to market!

Hope that's the case. I am leaning more towards yours since it has the height I need.

Just worried it isn't strong enough. I know proper forming can make all the difference, figure look at steel joist for walls etc. the heavy gauge shit is usually 14 gauge and its formed in a way to have rigidity.
Just surprised when the RCI is using 10 gauge steel.

You don't need to worry about the strength of our rack, it's very stout.

The RCI is quite beefy, I can vouch for that

Anyone know if the CBI 3rd Gen Overland Rack will work with a softtoper?

If you want something modular, take a look at Front Runner Outfitters. They over 50 different accessories and can be position a billion different configurations. I rearrange my stuff around based on where I am going and who is going with me.

Currently attached to our bed rack...
    • RTT
    • Table with sink basin
    • Shower Arm
    • Treds Recovery Device
    • Bottle Opener
I would like add more, but still wanted access to the sides and front of the bed, just incase I wanted to grab something. I also added a cargo net directly under the bed rack for anything light that can hang, like foldable chairs, etc...

All the accessories that I added to the Bed Rack can also be move to the Roof Rack. Which is why it's so modular.

I'm in the process of building a nearly identical setup, also with a FRO rack. I'll +1 that their accessories are awesome.

I'm also considering building a drawer that would hang on the bottom of the FRO rack. And will definitely be mounting camping lights on the four corners of the rack. Lots of versatility!

I live minutes away from their showroom. My wife hates it when I visit them, I always come home with something. LOL

I'm the same way with their website.

Pretty sure I'm going to eventually grab one of their tables + bottom mounting mechanism. I see you have yours mounted so that the table slides out at the back of the bed. Can that setup be turned 90-degrees so that the table comes out to the side of the bed, instead?

All-Pro or SOS have over topper racks. I have the All-Pro over my softopper, but I have SOS bumpers. You can't go wrong with either shop. I'm sure there are some others out there I think BAMF did a custom one for a member here.

Yes it can. I have my roof rack setup that way. I am actually running two tables, large one on the roof rack and a prep table for the bed rack.

I should be releasing this rack in the coming months!
All aluminum, modular and lockable side doors with accessorie mounts. Many other accessory options are in development as well.
The entire rack is only 44lbs and the doors are 11lbs each.
It also fits a softtopper! image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Would that rack be able to support a RTT?
