How's it going. I'm wondering what your ideal overland setup would be. I'm heading in the direction toward the mid travel setup. King ext reservoirs with adjusters, new leaf pack and smoothies or ext mid travel kings in the rear.

I'm also going to relocate the rear shock mounts for no rub with bigger tires on the king shocks.

Let's hear you ultimate overland setup....

Most of the Taco's in the group I run with are fairly mild setups. Minor amount of lift so they can run 33's. Most use Total Chaos Upper Control arms with Kings or the like for struts and get Deaver or such to build a set of rear springs. Those that want to do the occasional rough stuff will add a Marlin dual case or lower TC gears to the mix and most have 4.88 / 5.29's and at least one locker. This group does Baja stuff, Death Valley, Arizona etc on a regular basis and most have done the Rubicon & Dusey at least once...though they are much better suited to the Desert type stuff than the true rock gardens. The general idea is to make them fairly capable offroad and still retain very good road manners as they all are driven to and from our destinations...no trailer queens in this group.
