Another vote for the Falken wildpeak at3

I've had BFG KO2's and Falken wildpeak at3 on my 2016 Sport. The BFG were louder and would pull pretty badly in rain when hitting standing water. I got about 45K miles out of those. Then I switched to the Falken wildpeak at3 and found them to be better all round. They are slightly quieter on the road, still good off road, and good in wet rainy conditions. They also performed well in snow and ice. I had the first set for about 55K miles and I recently bought a 2nd set.

Toyo Open Country AT3 get my vote
I have just over 40k miles on mine. Quiet on the road, no real loss of mpg, and handle snow driving pretty well.

How is the ride quality of the Falken wildpeak? I've ran bfg's pretty much my whole life, from the original mud terrain, original a/t, to the ko2's and km3's. It's time for a change. FWIW, I'm running km3's now, they only have about 6k miles on them and I absolutely hate them. So I'm going to replace them with the falken's, maybe.

You must not live where it gets cold and rains....like....ever.

I bought a set and have maybe 8000 miles on them and I could not hate them more. In the dry you are golden. But as the temps drop these things turn into bricks. My truck is literally a drift machine without really trying.

Theres no way you have those tires because they were supposed to be released in Nov 2022 and have been delayed getting to stores. Are you talking about KO2's? I have Cooper discovers AT3 XLT's and really like them though.

    My experience:
Stock Goodyears: Great ride, best mileage, so so off road, lasted 45k miles.
Nitto Ridge Grapplers - didn't ride well on my truck. Didn't balance well. More miles = more noise and rough ride. Look great though and actually perform.
Yokohama GO15 - Great on road tire, wet, mileage, ride, etc. Suck off road. I would spin in wet grass. Got 55k out of them when I noticed wet performance decreasing.
Cooper Discovery AT3 - Ride good, ok in wet, fairly quiet but mileage decrease. Look pretty good. So so off road.
Falken Wildpeak AT3 - Great looks, ride decent, a little noisy while cornering, great off road traction and wet roads. Decreased mileage. I got these because they were $155 each on Amazon at the time (275/65/16).

If you increase tire size expect lower MPG. I've heard really good things about the Toyo AT3. Would have gone with those if the Falkens were not on sale.

My Wildpeaks ride great to me. Best semi-aggressive AT tire I've had on my truck. Not a GO15 but way better than Ridgegrapplers and a little better than the Cooper Disco AT3. A little noisy when cornering though. Oh, and when the temps got down to near zero, they were bricks. However they handled light snow very well. I keep mine at 36psi front and 38psi rear (constant heavy load and chalk test). Can't speak for the BFG's though...

Michelin LTX AT would be my choice for the rugged look, but the LTX M/S2 are a fantastic tire, but that is a rib tread
