OVTune without a doubt is one of the best if not the best mods you can get for performance

A good reliable dealer & a warranty LOL.

Some better tires once the stockers wear out.

I've got an AFE intake, URD y pipe, and MBRP catback turned down at the wheel. I'd love to have it dynoed to see if I got anything. It certainly sounds louder...

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The mods aren't for everyone, though.

I'd like to get the OV tune, but its pricey and usually sold out.

Pretty sure the valves are controlled through hydraulic lifters ran by a computer. A tune (Ovtune) will provide similar yet better results. Maybe someone who is more mechanically inclined can chime in if you want more details about why this is the case.

This is my understanding. I had VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing + "intelligence") explained to me once and its supposedly like Honda's V-TEC to a certain degree. The ECU determines when maximum power and minimum fuel efficiency is required.

That VVT-i kicks in yo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPQ0Ds527t0

My OV Tune is coming soon. Next up (after paying that bad boy off) is exhaust and then intake. Probably won't add much but I will certainly feel manlier.

I did the SSP shift sense version 2. Just installed it about 5 minutes ago. Cant afford the OV tune. I will be testing the SSP for the next couple days in mode 2 and mode 3 to see what I like. There is plenty on this forum regarding the SSP for you to read. It's only $185 shipped and 10 minutes to install. Hoping I like this better and don't crave the OV tune.

I almost went with the shiftsense pro too but I keep a GPS tracker in my odb port.

Only problem with tunes and the pedal commander is that’s when you start seeing weird electronic issues.

And the scoop is as functional as crawl control for 90% of OR owners.

    Oh boy.
I guess I should have said in my opinion, or in my experience.
Amazon reviews. Several posts on here. An associates mustang 5.0. Another's civic SI. Several friends vehicles...
In my experience once you start tuning and altering how the computer works, you are more likely to have computer and electrical issues. In my opinion.
