Nice! Did chris say how long he expects the trutrac to take for install?

Very interested to see how you like both the front and rear traction goodies. I may regear to 4.10s in the future and put a trutrac in for some better 2wd traction..

6-8 hrs max..ya it’s gonna be a different animal each stage of traction aid device. That will be sweet with 4.10s to bad you couldn’t use the 3rd member from the green truck.

Thats not too long of an install. Definitely wish i wouldve thought about the 4.10s outta my other truck, then i wouldve just needed to find a front diff with 4.10s. Oh well, ill probably change my mind with what i want to go with between now and then anyways:p

Them 3.73s will do ya just fine till then. I’m hoping it don’t take all day I wanna go test it out for a bit. I’m a little Leary if the front locker but I’ll just have to be a little more careful with the throttle but can’t afford a selectable locker yet.

It’s always locked but in 2WD with no power to it doesn’t “engage” so it acts almost like a open diff. When in use its locked an supposed to ratchet an allow the wheels to spin independently in a turn. But lock again when straight so they are a little noisy from what’ve I’ve read an mixed reviews across the board.

Gotcha that sounds like it should serve you well. I've never heard of one that can do that, so im interested to see how ya like it. I bet it will kick ass! I was curious if it would be trying to engage while in 2wd, but the way you explained it makes sense. I just thought the diff and cv's were always spinning so I guess that's what I was having a hard time wrapping my head around.

I couldn’t decide on which ones to chose between those 2 but I love them, anything over 40mph they start to growl but that’s what the stereo is for right?

Sweet, yeah I was between the ST maxx and the stt pro's, but I drive more on the hwy so I went with the maxx. Would definitely buy them again, theyre surprisingly quiet on road.

Definitely what the stereo is for, or you could just get a loud exhaust and call it a day :D
