Where is the best place to buy a set of front brake pads for my 2004 Tacoma doublecab PreRunner? I put a $15.00 set on a little over a year ago, and they are squeelin like a pig. It's to the point that I am hearing squeeling when my foot isn't even on the brake pedal. It's not a belt, I have ruled that out. I have tried to give my brake assemblies a thorough cleaning to get rid of brake dust, and that was a waste of 2 cans of brake cleaner. Where can I get the OEM pads other than my local dealership? I am also going to get the glazing taken off the rotors at a local auto parts store when I do this. Are these easy to get off the truck?

    Thanks

try a set of hawk ceramic pads from here, instead of the factory pads.............

    http://raceshopper.com/index.shtml

the pads on these tacomas are super easy to take out/reinstall.

easy as crap to replace shoes...

i personally like the idea of OEM pads...the first set i had lasted me 103K miles...seriously...before they started squealing even the slightest bit
