I see a few posts of buying at dealers with specials or lower prices in general. Just got a 2023 SR5 double cab and looking to add a few things. Guessing those dealers aren't local to the buyer at least in some cases. I got on autoparts.toyota.com and it only lists a couple local dealers and isn't listing a dealer that I like to use - why aren't all the dealers listed? When we purchased we wanted side steps added and they said they would do them at cost. Seemed reasonable and labor was $40 which I thought was great.

One of the things I am looking at is the bed step PT392-35230.

When I go through autoparts.toyota.com I can select Sparks, Morristown but it shows list price of $250. A local dealer shows better prices than that. If I go to dealer sites directly I seem to get a form to fill out for them to get back to me. If I get to them through autoparts.toyota.com I get a price shown. BAM looks good and the cheapest I have found. I am hesitant on the Amazon steps - they don't show many reviews and all have some bad ones where they have broken. Figure it's better to pay the higher price than having it break and maybe break me in the process. :)

    Enough for now
Could always check the marketplace section to see if another member has a set to offload.

Went with BAM. Found a MINUS10 code that gave 10% off shipping. Only a couple bucks but it all adds up. And I didn't have to pay any tax. Thanks!

In the LC world we use https://partsouq.com/ They should have Tacoma OEM stuff but they have lot's of LC parts since they are in the UAE and LC's are more abundant than Tacomas and these are 100% OEM parts. Been buying from them for about 10 years no issue, but shipping on some items could take time. Plug in your vin for better results and less searching.

I used toyotapartsdeal.com on my adventures through central and South America. Decent prices and good communication helped the parts be where I needed them when I needed them.
