Went to car toys. They wanted to charge me 450 with a 150$ HU and 300$ for install. Does this sound right? Is there another place that is cheaper? Im trying to stay around 200 including the HU

Idk for sure btu im pretty sure there is just a simple adapter to keep all that in tact, if you go on crutchfield they will help you out as will sonicelectronix. I bought mine fromt ehm and they included the wiring harness and dash kit.

$300 for a simple headunit install is ridiculous. I would go onto crutchfields website and punch in your vehicle info and see what it says you need. You may need a few modules from PAC to integrate steering wheel controls or other things. Crutchfield also gives you instruction sheets on how to install it yourself.

$300 for an install is crazy for a headunit espcially for our truck. you'll probably need a couple modules to keep the steering wheel controls if you got that option.
