Toronto is way too overpopulated. Traffic stinks, any time of the day. I'm pretty sure the part of the 401 that passes through Toronto is now ranked #1 busiest road in North America, with the highest wait times in traffic. The air is so polluted too now.

Toronto has no real downtown (other than a few streets of nightclubs). Most of the downtown is office buildings, and after 6PM everything shuts down. I'm just bored of this city.

I visited BC back in March and really liked it. I'm still 17 so I have plenty of time to decide where I want to live  The west coast is really nice, I can see myself out in Vancouver.

I'll be in Boston for the next 5 years for university which will give me a good perspective on what it's like living in other cities.

    Hell yeah!

Lady? suck your...? what are you fifteen?

That is Signal Hill not Cabot Trail.
Cabot Trail in yellow. If you were in St Johns you were also at the opposite end of the province for it to be connected somehow to the Cabot Trail in NS.

Cheaper than where? We pay more tax and make less $$. Cheaper than somewhere like Vancouver, but there are much cheaper places to live in Canada. Gas is 1.369, 15% hst on everything. I paid $2200 extra income tax simply because I switched my address from AB to NS this year... To get a job paying more than 50k/year you need to have a masters degree or 15 years experience. Our Journeymen trades people make $18-$22/hour. 4L of milk costs $6.50 at the grocery store..

The mild winters and ocean beaches are nice though.

The tax and stuff annoys me, but when I was living in Fort McMurray last year the thing that pissed me off was milk was 3.50 for 4L (instead of $6.50 here) and bananas were 20 cents cheaper per lb. How can Fort Mac get bananas cheaper than Halifax? Neither place grows their own so how are they cheaper way up in Fort Mac?

You are correct, I'm 15 and ... It was Cabot Tower not trail, my bad. It was North Head Trail..still got Sreeched-in, went on a drunken tour of NFLD and had some great times...if you don't believe it, I don't care. After all you're from Nova Scotia and nothin good ever comes from there. So I guess you were right again, I am full of it...

This thread has gone WILDLY off course. all these pics and arguments. I'm asking the best place, all your answers should be relevant to my interests!

needs to be close to civilization, no 100km trips to walmart and having to order everything off the interweb.

no road salt cuz i dont want my truck to melt.

if its cold as shit in winter there better be some snow to show for it.

the freedom to go shoot my rifle if i please and not spend time in jail for it ;p

saskatchewan is your answer then. there are lots of walmarts even in places with less than 5000 people. there isnt road salt because its too cold and windy for the salt to work. we get snow. you can go and shoot a rifle whenever you want.

North Carolina. Just kidding guys. Not meaning to hijack the thread. But from some of the pics posted by Tacoma owners ya'll have some beautiful country up there. Keep the pics coming. Maybe someday I'll get the chance to make my way up there.
