Best Places to Mount/Balance wheels

My girlfriend does though

 

I used MVP tires on 124th when I bought some tires on Amazon. Was in and out in 20 minutes (wheels weren't on the car, so there was no mount/dismount time), cost me $15 a tire. Discount tire is okay but man I always end up waiting an hour or more.

 

Damn that's cheap - did they take care of the wheels? Also, did they balance it correctly?

 

I'd go any place that can prove that their balancing machine is calibrated on a regular basis.

I'm sure you all have seen how the tire tech swings the tires and wheels onto the machine.

They ain't gentle.

 

I'm finishing up the powdercoating for my bolts on saturday but nowhere is open on sunday. Probably will have to wait another week to get them mounted

 

You mean the old tires? The wheels I bought didn't have tires on them. I literally had 4 wheels/rims and 4 tires. They are balanced fine, they had a roadforce machine. This was for my S13, not my tacoma btw.

 

Ah. Drift spares? Maybe they would charge more for big ass truck tires

 

Pretty much. I don't think they'd charge more for truck tires but my truck tires always get out of balance. Discount tire has lifetime free balancing which is cool and useful but it still means you gotta sit there for an hour or more and wait when you go in for balancing. Idk what MVP's policy would be on that, its just two dudes with a little warehouse space
