This may have been answered but as soon as I saw the Dongar adapter wasn’t available on Amazon any longer, I went to the Dongar tech website and ordered one. They sent it out the next day and it came with two of the left angle USB power cables that also connect to the Garmin. The Dongar rep told me they were planning to make their adapter available through Amazon again around mid October.

I bought a dash cam in July. I just stuffed the wires in the headliner. Yeah it plugs into the power outlet, but so does my phone when I need it.

    None.
I ordered a Dongar adapter from Amazon on Oct 16th and it was delivered on the 18th. It certainly simplifies installation.
