Best portable jump starter?

I (along with many in my family) Own this one from ebay. I have used mine to charge 3 cell phones when power went out, jump start 4 full size trucks, one trailer truck and even used it to give power to a camper awning that wouldnt extend all on one charge that was 6 months old. It was down 2 lights on battery so I recharged it and even had to use it on my camper when the battery died on my old camper and I didnt have power to lift landing gear to raise the camper to connect the fifth wheel hitch. All for under 40 bucks was well worth it.

Reviving this older thread rather than starting a new one ... I have an Antigravity XP1 and it’s worked well with motorcycles but I’ve never used it on a car or truck. So I come home from a 3 week trip and my 2 year old Tacoma is dead dead dead. Had to use the key to get in, as even the power locks wouldn’t work. No warning lights, door lights, nada (my wife’s one year older VW started on first crank). I hooked up the AG battery and nothing. I tried the boost mode, still nothing. The lights on the XP1 indicated full charge, and the flashlight worked fine (though I realize that’s not really relevant to the starting capacity of the battery). Then I hooked up jumper cables from the VW and the Taco started instantly. It’s kinda hard to test the jumper battery under load, but now I’m worried about its ability to start a fully dead battery. The whole idea was more versatility with less bulk than jumper cables, but if it can’t start a fully dead battery it’s not useful. Any ideas or experience?

 

GB40 powerful enough for the Tacoma?

 

I have had the NOCO GB70 for 2-3 years. Paid about $200 on Amazon when I bought it. It’s amazing! You can jump someone probably 20 times without recharging. It will hold a charge for a year. You can’t go wrong. Get a third party case for it on amazon for $15.

Thats what I have, it rocks. I've used it so many times to help out other folks that have broken down vehicles. The GB40 has saved me a few times, definitely powerful enough for Tacomas. Pro Tip: Buy them from Amazon on black Friday, they usually have huge deals. I got mine for just over 60 bucks.
