Any recos on best powder coat shops in LA/OC area? I had some brand new SCS wheels and the guy who was trying to mount the wheels, chipped the paint. Super bummed but wondering best way to fix them...

Youll get rick chips Driving on fire roads that will look like that. I’d get a paint pen and call it good. If you plan to off-road they’re gonna get dinged up

Maverick powder coat in Anaheim. But you might be paying more for the powder coat than your one wheel haha. Not worth it especially for that tiny chip.

the shop you took it to should be paying for it anyways!

:rofl:Just take a brush and black paint to it. It's just not worth the time to have that powder coated again. Guess what? Then you'll be in the same situation for a shop to re-install the tires again. I got a small nick on my rims and it was solved with some black paint. You can't tell the difference unless you're inspecting it closely. Save your $ and just touch it up.

    Oh?

FWIW, SCS uses paint on their wheels and doesn’t powdercoat. It might be just as easy to get some touch up paint and spray the lip rather than try and get matching two tone PC. I’ve done it to my Ray10s.
If anything the two tone PC will cost a lot more than buying a new wheel

^ You're better off having the shop redo all 4 rims in a custom color than doing one.
