They weren't even a leader in ripping off Prinsu..

OP go to cbi direct, or look for resellers shaving a bit off..

I got mine from @Truck Brigade as well. No tax and free shipping. I had it 7-10 days after I ordered.

If you can’t save any money and have to buy new I’d highly recommend you check out the victory 4x4 rack. I really like mine and after having seen both in person I believe it’s a better option. The way it mounts to the roof seems like it will last longer/be stronger. Plus I just saw on their Instagram they’re having a 10% off tax time sale. Just food for thought.

The Prinsu is just under $700 shipped to my front door. The Victory is priced at $650 plus the 10% Facebook discount code (TAXSALE) that you mentioned. It comes in at $584 OTD with free shipping and no tax, around $100 less.

I found a great thread here comparing the two roof racks...

Truck Brigade seems to be the #1 referral. I like the Prinsu rack because of it's low profile and great aesthetics.

+1 for the Victory 4x4 rack. I like mine a lot and was much cheaper than Prinsu.

Looks great! I am seriously looking at the Victory 4x4 roof rack instead of the Prinsu.

Lol. I've said volumes about their prices. That nonsense is for the Jeep owners who don't know any better. I've seen them give more away to people to help promote their product, but they will likely go the route of other failed companies that came before them if they don't change. To be fair, I think Prinsu is overpriced, but I'll pay for their rack due to it's reputation. Oddly enough, pretty sure they were bought out as well. Same goes for custom knife makers; they come out of nowhere with something twice as high as reputable companies, then fall on their face. In order for that logic to work, a company has to offer something way better in every aspect, and not have crazy high lead times that have left many people here with no product, and no refund due to a bankruptcy. Then you have the cheap outsourcing, relabeled product, and high price. I watch as many companies as possible to see where things come from, the people involved, any sketchy activity, and red flags. Over-night companies with high prices and huge lead times are the biggest red flags. The best example of a company I am impressed with is Meso Customs. They have a unique set of quality products, great pricing, make batches to sell because they BELIEVE IN THEIR PRODUCT, continue to innovate, great customer service, and they stay within their means. I have some of their products and love them all. I have seen them partner with a company that I have concerns about, but maybe that company will follow Meso's practice. It's long winded, but I want to see a standard for quality in new companies; not the "customers take all the risk" approach that has saturated the market.

The Martin Cabrack appears to be a direct copy of the Prinsu rack which I am leaning towards. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery:)

Sure is, probably why a lot of people have it. Sort of like how a lot of people have the Prinsu rack because it's a good rack. It was an observation about the "Be a leader, not a follower" statement, seems they weren't taking their own advice.

I don't care who follows who. I just wish there were a "rtic" alternative to the "yeti" in the world of racks. My god they are expensive.
