Bought my prinsu today from truck brigade. I heard they don’t come with instructions? Saw some youtube videos, looks pretty easy.

My question is did you guys drill holes or cut the rubber molding for the spacers?

From what I've read, don't drill them. Use a punch instead. If you drill, it will make a mess of the hole.

from what I saw the rubber molding has a metal wire in the middle so I wonder if a punch tool will work?

ive seen guys using a dremel followed by using a drill. I just want to do it as clean as possible.

Good morning! Yes, $573 was the additional 15% off. At this time our company is still covering the shipping charge for the PrinSu racks, so you will still save roughly $75-$80 typically. Please let me know if you have any additional questions that I can assist with!

1 day tax sale ! that's too bad, would be nice to run the promo's a little longer. I frequent TW and didn't even realize they had a sale, been waiting for something like this to pull the trigger. looks like next decent promo :spending:

Good morning and thank you for reaching out as well as your business! At this time we are offering a Best Price Guarantee on PrinSu racks by covering the shipping charge for our customers (which is typically around $75 - $100). We do offer additional discounts for TW members on many of our products however I'll need to see if I can get it approved to apply on this specific product. We will contact you via PM.

    Thanks

Feel free to follow us on instagram @truckbrigade as we continually post when deals are taking place. PrinSu only authorized the 1 day sale so we had to honor that. They typically offer a sale like about 2-3 times a year - Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Tax season. They haven't informed us of when the next one will be. As I mentioned above, we offer a Best Price Guarantee year round! So if you decide to squeeze the trigger on one be sure to let us know.

Do not drill the rubber molding. I tried this method following the video instructions and it was a shit show. Ended up cutting my molding real tight against the prinsu spacers and loading up the area with tons of silicone to prevent any pooling of water. My silicone sits flush with my molding and acts as molding essentially. The wire is pretty gnarly down the middle of the molding. If I were to do it again, I would go straight to cutting my molding, just measure it and remember you can always cut more if needed to make it tight against the spacers and less void.
