Thats more what I was thinking cause the front doesnt need to be but maybe +2 the rears need to be a bit longer though.

Don't go too long as the lines can get caught in the coil spring. I've seen it twice on the Lite Brite Youtube channel. It can strand you on the trail if you don't have replacement parts and brake fluid handy.

The All-Pro/Trail Gear front lines are already 4.75" longer than stock. They're said to be the same ones included in their +2" per side LT kit.

    Yes they use crown
Easier for them to get tangled up into the suspension don't go that route.

I've seen that happen in real life brake lines getting wrapped up where they shouldn't be. Hell just the extended fronts I have from HS I have to ziptie out of the way so that they don't make their way somewhere they shouldn't be.

Yeah that seems to be the consensus.

@boogie3478 did you ever end up getting new lines? And if your earlier post means what it sounds like, I'm looking forward to the video! Gonna go with the 3 inch Crown lines. Hopefully I can also do a projector retrofit soon when time and money allows, as I want to colormatch all my lights.

No not yet. I'll probably grab some soon but either stock length or +1".

Is there a reason you're staying shorter? I'm just wondering because I have roughly 2.5" front and 1.5" rear lift so I figured I should go for the 3 inch longer lines.

Everyone I talked to who has the same front suspension said the longer brake lines just run the risk of getting tangled in the suspension when it's drooped.

I wonder if that's just because you were looking at the 5"+ length, or if the 3 inchers would run that risk on mine too? Hard to say, I've never messed with longer lines on a lifted truck before.

The longer they are the greater the risk of course.

Yeah agreed. I may go with the 2" ones to be safe.

Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)

Thank you for this information. I just sent Crown an email for 1 inch over stock (front) and 26 inch rear brake lines (both in red). This was something I overlooked in my thinking for my shock relocate.
