    sorry for the noob question but my dad was wondering which was better ? trd or urd? he likes oem stuff better but wants to know what u guys run.

    both are great SS. If you got the cash, I'd say go with TRD. If not URD is an awesome SS. It's what I have, it's cheap and easy to install, well worth the money. Both great products.

    30xxx on the TRD. It was a gift so it wasn't about price for me.

    have u had any probs with either? the trd seems to have the shifts by the temp controls and the umd has issues with reverse

    Reverse issue goes away after u drive it for a while....

    i have no problem with the urd. just get nervous when its in for service or valet and watch how long it takes people to figure out getting it into reverse. i have not noticed the reverse get any easier, but once you get the quick "slap" it left method down, you're golden.
