I am going to replace my carrier bearing but the ratings are all over the place. I plan to have my ashes stored under the floor mats when I am cremated so I can travel forever!

I want the best quality bearing.

    Suggestions???

    2002 Prerunner, V6, auto, ext cab, 2WD, 140K miles

If you want the best get Toyota OEM. If you don't want to pay the high dollar for a OEM one, I put a National HB-26 on my 02 Tacoma and it worked great.

Is your Taco 2WD or 4WD? On line, there is some confusion re. part numbers

2wd is probably referring to a 5 lugger. As far as 6 luggers go it looks like same part number for all 1st and second gen tacomas, t100s, and 1st gen tundras.

I had decided o go with OEM but did not like the price....not at all. I ordered the National brand. It had the fewest bad comments!
