While im waiting on my stealth lt kit from simmons built i want to throw on some rear hydro bumps real quick to get better control of the bottoming out since i have added more weight to the back for until i get the lt rear going. So my question is likely easier said that answered, what is the best bump stops and mounting hardware for them?

What suspension kit are you going with? Brand shocks?

Total Chaos has a bolt on rear air bump kit for Fox bumps and King has their own bolt on kit. Both very similar.

What shocks do you have in the rear?

im going to use 3' triple bypass in a cantilever set up, most likely from king, and i would like to work my way up to sua. Simmons built in provo ut, just created bolt on cantilever with 19+ with an sua. Out of curiosity what springs would u recommend since i don't want to go full lt in the rear with the front still being mt? Im running about 700 extra lbs of weight but i would like to grab a cbi high clearance bumper in the nearish future. Unless i decide to turn it into a prerunner in 15 years.

You will most likely need to get a custom leaf pack for that much weight and travel, especially for something that custom.

ok, i know the kit was build around a deaver sua spring, is there a spring that would be passable for the time or with the 14" with the stock spring should i just go for that and throw a block on it for a year or so, or is a custom spring not all that much?

I personally don't have it, although I was gonna be one of the guinea pigs. But have ridden in his "overland" setup with the extra air cans that's in my buddy Ben's truck. Like you, he's MT in the front. Compared to my truck on regular kings and dakars, he def has a softer rear end over the rough stuff.

ahhh, ok, do you know what springs he was running? thats the last question i have once i decide if I want to switch to kings or not when going for the bump stops since i need those to save me from ending up like my friends with everything broken, but i know the second i have "long travel" and a properly valved setup im gonna be in the air

He had Dakar heavies in before he took it in,. so I'd assume thats what he's running now.

If you're going to all that trouble, I'd def run proper leaves and remove the blocks

for sure, i just dont want to go to sua quite yet since i don't want to go full lt yet and i don't want to go for a custom spring if im just gonna change it out when im able to take it to the next level and go full lt. But its a bit pricey the canti is just not that much more expensive than a bed cage and its a bit more step by step for going full lt.

Yeah I agree. Dakar springs are pretty cheap and theres plenty of demand for them in the SLC area so you could run them while you need, then sell them as you progress.
